Kammic Creation

One subject, which is very interesting, in the Buddha?s teachings, is the question of where is non-produced kamma? The answer is that it is a follower of human life, but invisible. It sometimes reveals its fruit to human beings beforehand, for instance, in a dream which is called ?Kammic Creation?. It is one of the causes of dreaming.
It is said that a man, who will die by accident, always dreams of something making him dead, or of strange omens. This is the power of kamma which is warning the owner beforehand, so the man of purified mind is able to know the day of his death beforehand, as the Buddha foretold his death, to his disciples, three months in advance. In the same way, if we consider the nature of some trees, such as the Mango tree, when it does not bear fruit yet, where is its fruit? When it bears fruit this year, next year, it will bear fruit again, and while it is waiting to bear fruit, where is its fruit? It is the same with kamma, it will produce its fruit to the doer, when it is ready; good or bad kamma will produce its fruit to the doer until he dies, or he can eradicate all craving or attachment, just as the mango tree will bear fruit till it dies.
On the other hand, kamma that has been done will be stored in the mind of the doer. When he accumulates more kamma, for instance, bad kamma, it will be stored in his mind and it will inspire him to perform evil actions; mental, verbal, and physical. On the contrary, good kamma stored in his mind will inspire him to do good mental, verbal, and bodily actions. What makes people fear kammic results is that it sometimes gives a fatal result to the doer, without any sign or cue. It just happens to him, so it is called ?Kammic Creation.
